Athens was named after the great goddess Athena. Athenians were polytheistic; they worshiped many gods. All the Athenian women wove and cooked everyday of their lives. Athens held many great people! One of them was Plato the philosopher. Plato had the love of knowledge of wisdom. The Peloponesian war was a great part of history. The Athenians fought against the Spartans. The Spartans won, but that does not matter 'cause
We are Athens!! The school of Greece! The first democracy! Oh, we are Athens!!

ATHENS LAWS
#1- Cannot be late for class
#2- Need all supplies for class
#3- On Fridays the archon has to bring in a snack to Athens.
#4-Must bring in a gift for the archon on Wednesday.
#5- Bring in homework EVERYDAY!
#6- Natalie has to talk in Spanish for first five minutes of class.
#7- Never forget any supplies.
#8- If you have an C or higher in World Studies at the end of the week, you will be supplied with two pieces of candy from the archon.
#9- No swearing.
#10- If one breaks any law their punishment will be determined by Mrs.Walters.
